Talking 750 hp

So check this out.

First Drive: 2010 Shelby Super Snake as good as a Ford Mustang gets — Autoblog

How do I get this engine into the Truck? The car looks sharp except for the hood scoop, get rid of the scoop and I think it might just be the best looking Mustang, and give me quarter windows instead of fake scoops.

It is a 5.4 engine bet it is the same block as in the Gen 2 trucks. But pray for aluminum.

Carson....putting one of those motors in the Lightning is old news, it has been done several times. There is a guy in texas that had it done and he put on a 3.4, ran at (I think) 19 lbs of boost and drove to the track and ran 9.90's with it. At least I think he drove it to the track, I do know it was completely street driveable.

I think its damn near a bolt in, just needs headers which I think Kooks makes or did make.

I was up at Bickford Ford on Wednesday, they had a 2007 with just over 100 miles on it sitting by the front door - $80K My understanding is there is 2 different engine packages, 600HP with a warrantee or the 750+ that is not warranted. It does look sweet.

Does it come with the Aluminum block?

Did you get my message about the cross brace?

Carson

Nope its an iron block but Ford now makes the aluminum GT block machined for wet sump use so its a bolt in.
