2.3 Whip Power

Been working this for a couple of weeks as time permits.. Got it all buttoned up today, but have a few issues of course. What a pain in the ***** this has been. The instruction sheet/35 pages or so sucks......

Fired right up but it has a miss, not sure what yet hopefully it's a loose connection on a coil pack. The snout support that comes with this kit doesn't seem to want to work with the MP idler bracket..Don't know how important it is, I'll have to check with Whipple. I also broke one of the vacuum line fittings on the boost actuator. I put one from the Eaton on but I don't know if it's gonna work. I'll have to contact Whipple and buy a new one Not even sure how I'm going to get it off there

here's a couple of pics:

damn damn DAMN....I can't see the pics at work.

You never answered my question the other day....did you have to shorten to two sleeve dowels between the mid plate and lower manifold

Also don't worry about help....between me, Jeff and Steve we can help you.

Also if you would like to drive your truck now...you can take my boost canister and use it, I'm not exactly sure if it is the same one or not....(I suspect it is) but you can try it if you want.

Actually the one I put on should be OK..It looks just like the Whipple one and seems to be working. The only difference is a little threaded stud that don't know what it's for.
Truck is running smooth as silk but I think lean lean lean...Gonna pulley down some, 16 lbs of boost it looks like..Only driven a few miles...

Way to go Jon, that looks real fast. You do know I like shiney bright. Now if the South end would catch up they could post pictures also. Just wait til Cuppy Cake sees that. I think there is something like that here now or in the near future. All I know for sure is ca ching is being spent. How much, I don't need to know. Nuff said.
