:)

That there was a fun ride. I was vibrating the whole way down the track. With pedal to the metal. I was laughing the whole way down. That is just the beginning of this black trucks new life. It will and is going to do much much better next time.

Have fun this weekend whomever goes.

Nope, no mercy on Jennifer ! I signaled to the staging lanes director to put us up together since we were both at the head of our respective staging lanes. It was our one and only time trial run. As it was I spun the M/Ts resulting in a lousy 60 foot time and slow quarter at just 12.987. Track was cold and green though.

Yep, it's DOT legal tires only for CCCA so Nitto 555Rs would be good. I picked up a set of M/T street drag radials for the season. Got one whole run on them so not much on the learning curve for those tires.

For me it's easier on the ol' body to go over Friday afternoon/eve and grab a room at the Days Inn nearby. I don't do mornings well especially having to get up and goin' from here by 5:30 AM. They gots a racer discount and it's a reasonable motel especially for a Days Inn. Nuthin' great but okay. There's a Shari's across the street plus a McDonalds and Dairy Queen. It's 4 miles from the track.

Last time two guys from the Mopar group stayed there. A nice Hemi Charger and a Hemi Magnum. One is from Marysville, the other from Arlington.

The only "downside" to last time was we all got one whole run in for $35 entry fee and no "raincheck" on the day. Many were a bit bummed by that. The track did try their BEST to dry and redry the track and keep some semblance of order but the weather won out.

Yeah, I'll be there......

weather permitting and I go, you want to meet up somewhere near the track Sat morning? I put my Nitto DR's on this afternoon..

You bet'cha ! On highway 16 I will be at the SE Sedgewick Road exit where the Days Inn is located (nearly all the way to the Tremont exit for the drag strip). It's like 4.1 miles to the strip from the motel. There is a McDonalds there as well as a Dairy Queen and Shari's. Take that exit and I'll be awaitin' fer ya either in the Days Inn parking lot or the Mickey D's lot. Be a lookin' fer Moody Blue (the new drag racin' name given just days ago fer the True Blue Gen 2). When ya take the exit you'll have'ta take a right at the light and then another right to get into the little complex of motels and eateries.

Don't get lost on me !

Nitto DRs, yeah ! Smoke'em if ya got'em !!

Scott, what time you want to meet in the AM. The gates most likely open at 8.
