Wish the rain would have stayed away for a bit longer. Wanted to run my truck after Corey fixed the timing from 5 degress retared to 12 deg advanced. My truck had a bad balancer and fan clutch was fishy, so we fixed that the night before.
The time I got is unmentionable. It was alot faster then walking the quarter so I cant complain to much. I also had to race mr speed demon (Scott) which was rather funny. I saw him pass me and watched him race away while I had the peddle to the metal, praying my engine wasnt going to vibrate out of the truck. (still have a vibration, unsure of what it is) Corey is suspecting a flex plate, maybe.
I will post up some of our pictures too..We brought our crew member James with us. He was the photographer/go get it guy.

Scott getting ready to smoke me......oh man......

My truck looks soo hot here. Its where it was ment to be.

GO Corey GO!!!!!!

Was alot of fun wish you all were there...Maybe next time

Nice shots there James ! Looks like Jennifer slid a bunch in via editing her post. That was a good day in spite of the rain that kept showin' up throughout the day.

FYI Bremerton is up again on the 25th for those that can make it. Extended weather guessers forecast is sunny this time but we'll see as the actual day gets closer.

35 bux entry fee, one time 5 bux CCCA fee for the Bremerton track then get yer TNT/practice/time trials in and line up agin' them thar F bodys, Chebbys, V-Dubs, Mopars, an' anything else that gets in the way of winnin' to cut'em down.......

Weather guessers say it's good for Saturday in the immediate area (Port Orchard). Yep, I'll be there for another crack at those pesky GM cars, and the Mopars too.

For me it's easier on the ol' body to go over Friday afternoon/eve and grab a room at the Days Inn nearby. I don't do mornings well especially having to get up and goin' from here by 5:30 AM. They gots a racer discount and it's a reasonable motel especially for a Days Inn. Nuthin' great but okay. There's a Shari's across the street plus a McDonalds and Dairy Queen. It's 4 miles from the track.

Last time two guys from the Mopar group stayed there. A nice Hemi Charger and a Hemi Magnum. One is from Marysville, the other from Arlington.

The only "downside" to last time was we all got one whole run in for $35 entry fee and no "raincheck" on the day. Many were a bit bummed by that. The track did try their BEST to dry and redry the track and keep some semblance of order but the weather won out.

Yeah, I'll be there......
