| Moderator Paid Member | One lousy pic. Spent around a 1/2 hour massaging 'till it looked decent on my screen. Yeah, there's a bunch of pics but I learned something today. In the harsh light of the sun USE THE POLARIZER filter ! It's a MUST !!! So here's "lunch to go"... ![]() ![]() |

| Moderator Paid Member | Okay, here's a couple more......without any "massaging"... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nineteen trucks showed up, 8 Gen 1's, 4 Harleys (five if you count the dog), and 7 Gen 2's. Trucks from 3 different states showed up, an' we're not talkin' them little states that are the size of a couple of our counties, one from CA, two from OR, and 3 that rolled in from eastern Washington ( a couple hunert miles or so). Yep, forty some people chose to ease on in for a slice of paradise in western Washington on Puget Sound in the perfect location for Lightning minds to meet. Even had after dinner entertainment with the flyin' fisherman (com'on, I'm talkin' about the bird catchin' lunch) and geese squawkin' and flappin' their wings figurin' out who's in charge. More later...... ![]() Last edited by Skritch; 07-27-2009 at 05:46 AM.. |

| Registered User | Well me and the family had a great time. It was nice seeing all you guys and gals and meeting new people. I think that i am going to have to plan another trip up there when it gets cooler and hopefully i can run that 10. On another note i didnt think that my turbo Lightning was going to make it up those steep hills after we left the beach (lol). Also a big thanks goes out to Steve and family for having us over and planning the GTG. I cant wait till next year.

I think the hoods were shut to make sure a hawk didn't drop a fish on a clean engine.....hawks can't always hang onto what they catch so the hoods stayed shut ![]() We did have a nice viewing of all the work that Corey and company put into Jennifers engine bay.....she even brung her new Vortech for show-n-tell. | Super Moderator Paid Member | It was the greatest bash yet! Thanks all for coming this year. Special thanks goes to Carson for making the beans, I really enjoyed them, they pleasured me all through the night though. Thanks to Jen for flipping the burgers and John for making the brauts too. The show stopper was the cool cake with my personal favorite Gen 1. I cant believe I ate the entire ***** off that truck. The folks really liked it too. A few weeks ago it didn't look like Dad was going to make it let alone coming to the bash. I like the idea of making it a drag racin Sat. and the bash on Sunday. What do you guys think? Also really cool pics from Scott, the Hawk was really entertaining. BTW, when we got home I got a call from the folks about the burnouts left while a certain person exited again this year. The Seacliff president was knocking on his door and said he saw a Silver Gen2 lay down the rubber. Since I was the last one out of there he thought I did it. My Dad told the guy he was mistaken that the burnout was done by the disgruntled owner of a white dodge pickup that wasnt part of our party. So it looks like Rod Robertson bailed us out one more year. Dad said that Jeff owes him some Hockey tickets, I told Dad that the association owes Jeff money for the road sealcoat that he applied. Another thing, I measured 187' of twin stripes. I also saw patches all the way up the hill too. ![]() Last edited by Super Glide; 07-27-2009 at 10:46 PM.. |
