Dale broke his leg

Dale slipped on some leaves or something when he was going in to the building friday afternoon.I think it is his thigh bone.I don't know how bad it is.I think he is at harborview.

Rod, Has he had it reduced yet? He was scheduled for surgery today according to your mom.
He had an ugly femur fracture. Sounds like he will had a long healing process. Jeff and I are going to visit him tomorrow if he can have visitors.

Jeff and I went to Harborview for a visit. Dale is in great spirits. He went through a few hours of surgery with a "team" of docs to fix his left leg. He was on the narcs and was pain free. He has a long road to recovery and expect he will be leaving tomorrow. He says hi to all the Washlo.
He misses working on the L already.

Yep, it sure was good to see Dale's smiling face today...I know we're talking about Dale and smiles in the same sentence, but Steve did mention he was on narcs, lol. All kidding aside, Dale is in GREAT spirits and although he knows it's going to be a long road to recovery, he sure is anxious to start down it ASAP.

Hey, ya big 'ol grump.....whatayadoin' crackin' yer leg like that ? Now's ya gotta spend a buncha time gettin' it all healed up and stuff. 'Course it'll give ya time to figure out how to tear yer truk further apart. That, an' ya don't have'ta deal with that pesky work thing that takes up a lot a time. On the other hand ya can't do much on yer truk either.

Word is you'll be surfin' on the net soon. Other's mentioned smilin' and Dale in the same sentence and the first thing Jean said, "it had to be the drugs". I know you and Bill Jenkins have got to be brothers, at least in spirit ! HAH !!!

We was gonna come bother ya on Sunday too but it didn't work out We'll see ya soon though. Meantime, heal up quickly and heal up COMPLETELY so's I can bother ya about yer truk sittin' on jackstands forever. I"m givin' ya a pass until you can walk again and complain about everything before I start gettin' on yer case about tearin' stuff apart and then tearin' it apart again, and again, and.....well you know !

Heal up good buddy, we'll come bother ya as soon as we figure out where ya are ! Got a whipple for sale ? ......Nevermind !!!
