Yes, Jeff and I visited Dale today and he is in a holding pattern until the surgeon sees fit to release him, could be a couple more days. We saw the battle scars today, pretty impressive, lets say the DR. is quite the metallurgist now, he has a fair bit of titanium in him.

I hope they sewed, stapled and fused him back together. You know how he is about fit and finish! He's gonna want to rework and/or make his own parts more than likely

Man, when I read your post Jon I thought the same thing. He's gonna wanna open up his leg to check the material used and see about changin' things to suit his preferences ! He may wanna get rid of that ho-hum titanium for some unobtainium and then I'm a wonderin' if he'll want some locktite for the screws to make sure they stay until the bone grows around'em, and what about torque on the fasteners, with or without ARP moly lube..... and.....and.....and !

Come'on Doc, where ya at, we wanna hear your cheerful voice, well at least your cutting edge command of the english language in the written form right here.

Crutches any one?

Hey if Dale needs crutches I got a really nice, barely used, pair of aluminum crutches he can have. They are the adjustable type, and not modified.

We picked him up for an hour or two today. He was acting gnarly at first but we could see through the whole scheme, eventually he mellowed out when we threw a slab of raw meat and a few percosets at him.
