| Super Moderator Paid Member | Need an IC pump Can you believe it? My 01 with just 17K on the odometer killed a pump today. Chalk up another one for the aero interceptor gauge, I was watching my Charge temperatures today on the freeway coming from Port Orchard all was well then 5 miles from home the charge temps went to 165 and stayed there. Either I got an air bubble in there when I removed the resevoir earlier this week or it was just its time. Anyone have one laying around?? Steve |

| Moderator Paid Member | Steve, I would check for an air bubble, I replaced mine once, turned out to be just air. I sold the other one or I'd give it to you....I bet it needs a good bleeding Last edited by SLVRLTNG; 11-04-2008 at 07:45 PM.. |

Had mine do that, think I pulled up to close to a curb and bent it up and than it stopped working after that. I think Jon had the same type of problem at the track one time. Francis |

I did in fact have an air bubble in it. The reservoir for the IC was low(about 1/2" below the low line too. Apparently, they dont like getting low, and it gets air locked. Dale, you cant fix everything with a hammer, that is so unlike being a Doctor. Now that my Charge temps are in check again, I'm cooling off on the killer chiller idea, roflmao. Haha I cracked a funny. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Super Glide; 11-05-2008 at 11:58 AM.. | |
