Hi Ron
It is moving forward....but very very slowly. I took a bunch of stuff up to my fabricator and tonight I will pick up the springs and one exhaust header but the rearend is still untouched.

That's about it....I have been maintaining a 6 to 7 day a week work schedule, so I don't get much done.

Also any suggestions as to where I should have the roll cage done? I am hearing that there are a couple of shos up there that do a pretty good job!

Yes I got it, however it came in Polished and I wanted black, so it went back. The hood looks good, but it isnt painted yet. It goes in on the 2nd to get painted, my painter is overloaded and I had to get in line!

I was EXTREMELY happy with the kid that did my roll bar. His name is Ryan Buttler and he used to work at HotRod Fabrications but has since moved out on his own. If you're interested I can try and dig up his number.

Ryan has built 2 winning StreetMachine of the Year winners in the last 6 years or so, and his work is Tight.

Good to hear you're making progress on the truck Ron. Keep me in the loop on your progress, because I'm ready for a new mod too.

Dale, I think I'm going to need a 3.4to keep up with the Jones's.
I think Jeff is going off the deep end but regardless he will have to be tamed one way or another.

My builder is trying to get me to keep the 2.3L and spraying it, so I can have a more friendly street truck!I think I will just go 3.4L and spray it anyway! When I visited Art and his crew last summer, they had a 2.9L prototype and a 3.9L prototype, I wish they would have used the 2.9L instead of the 3.4L!
