That's to make it look like it's going fast when it is sitting in pieces in his garage

I dropped in to check on the rearend progress last night and it was sitting there, fresh out of sand blast. I asked if I could have it by the end of the month (less than two weeks) and I got the feeling I was pushing him and I made it clear that wasn't what my intensions were ...so maybe 3 weeks.

The rearend is in the truck with axles and it even has fluid in it.

I installed it....then tore everything apart again....then put it back together ....then....well you get the idea.

The ride height and pinion angle are set, the Caltraks are fit.....not exactly to my liking but the next time I have to take the springs out, I will fix the right side to match the left but it will work fine for now. Its nothing big it just doesn't move as free as the left and needs a couple more thousands shaved off of the front spring mount.

Next big mess was the rear shocks, The ones I ordered from LFP are waaaay to long and will require custom lower shock extenders which I am designing up now. The shock was supposed to fit a Lightning but my rear suspension still has 2 1/2" inches of rear travel and the shock is already bottomed out

Got the front rack and pinion mount back from On The Ground Performance, it had to be modified but now is back in my hands. First it went to Scribner for modification then it went to Maryland and now I have it back.

Front spindles were dropped off at the coaters this week for some tuffcoat.

Fuel tank is in place but I still have to cut two fuel lines and haven't gotten around to it yet.

and that is about it for now.
