Welp, had a good turnout today ! A gaggle of Gen 2's, a couple of Gen 1's, a Harley Davidson Edition, and a Mustang Cobra. Sunny day to boot ! Steve showed up a little late (practicin' to be like Dale), son Tom was in Roy, WA and stopped by on his way back to home. The usual suspects were all there plus some seldom viewed members (Mo, Mike (boomer), John (screamng), John (cruzn93svt).

Dale, you would'a loved being there as you could have seen 3, then a little later 4 True Blues lined up in a row ! Only 1130 of those extra special, one year only, and RUNNING trucks built and 5 of them reside within WashLO ! Too bad ya missed it !!

Griots was very accommodating with coffee and cookies for the trainees, and John (cruzn93svt) thoughtfully didn't clean his truck and was promptly volunteered by Guy, our host, to use his truck to demonstrate Griots products on. Poor 'ol John, now he has a shiny unoxidized 1/3 of a hood and the upper half of the passenger side front fender !! Even has the passenger side door glass de-waterspotted. Now all that's left for him is the other 7/8s of the truck and the interior, and the wheel wells, and......

Ol Steve even grabbed a buffer for a bit to get a "feel" for this ragman stuff. His silver Gen 2 is a real shiny truck and it takes a bit of effort to keep it lookin' that way. Seems most dropped a bit of green in the showroom area but didn't catch what all people grabbed. I was out back loading up another pair of wheel jacks and gettin' one replaced that was a leaker. Lifetime warranty on those and no questions asked, and here's one to replace the leaky one ! I did bring it with me to find out what could be done. A real pleasant surprise on the replacement. Did go with the special offered this day on the mini buffer. Liked the 3" pad size for getting into the tighter confines of the A-pillar, front bumper cover, around the side view mirrors, the front of the side view mirrors on the Gen 2 and around the antenna mast on the Gen 1 plus other areas yet to be discovered.

Seems 'ol Rick picked up one of the raffle prizes, a detail kit I think with around 5 or 6 different products in it.

Of course, after the demo and the showroom wallet lightening exercise, the BSin' commenced out in the parking lot. Another hour and a half chewing the fat, showing off the newest polished blower making it's way from one truck to another, the replacement KB blower for that polished one, a checkout of the shaker hood, a data plate available for the radiator cover and other sundry items. More than a few hoods were up for a bit.

Pics, yeah you know there's pics....

Inside...Guy in the white shirt demonstrating Griots products...

Why, even the "mountain" was out today, though looking a bit green shooting through the tinted windshield...

Enjoyed it yesterday. Good seeing you all. Jeff had me when he made the comment of Texas road kill from '96 was found in John's truck. I've seen Bobby's truck and I think John's truck has him beat. These two guys were definately separated at birth but are true bros. Anyway, thanks to big John for being a good sport, nice having him back from the hot land in Texas.

Oh, and I just got word that Sparky's truck will not be on the road until next week, cuz he screwed around painting a bunch of crap yesterday instead of bolting sh!t together. Oh yeah, where was my damn cupcake, cupcake?

BTW, I think we are going to be making one batch of those low cost oil separators, available only to Washlo constituants, let either Jeff or I know if you want one. We will be only doing this once guys.

Steve
