| Guest | SLVRLTNG Congrats on the new ride, do you plan to mod it and race it a little, or is it goin to stay stock? I work in Redmond and live in Auburn, I'm only about 10 minutes from the track. Maybe I'll see you around. Dale P.S. Check into joining the NLOC, go up to the club news forum, Just a thought. |

| Guest | Dale, that's just down a few blocks from my house. I work in Everett. If they are looking for a CNC lathe machinist with 23 years of experience, I may need a job soon...Things got real slow in the last 6 weeks..... JR Go Fast and be safe ------------------

| Guest | Man, thats the weird thing about a mold shop, we have a cnc jig grinder, cnc surface grinder's, cnc wire edm's, cnc sinker edm's and a whole bunch of cnc mills and then in the back corner of the shop we have an old lathe with about 1960's tooling, that gets used about once a week. (I'm not kidding) Besides they just layed off about 30% of the shop a month or so ago. (10 guys) and everything looks stable for now, but you never know. I think the whole industry is going to be slow for a while. Dale |
