| Guest | Hey Dale, there were 6 "L"'s there; 1 Gen 2 and 5 Gen 1's. Jason brought his silver 2000. Kevin with his red straight piped 93, Berni from east the mountains with his striped and nitrous 93, Shawn with his black 93, and your brother Rod. I think we all got in about 5 runs apiece. 1st run out was the best for most of us. Track was OK air was good and no rain. Staging area got real greasy as the night went on, and tires gummed up with crap, no body worked the staging area very well. Anyway my best was a 13.4 at 102, with terrible 2.00 60'. Berni was running 14.4's and Jason had traction problems and went high 13's if I'm right. Rest of us were at 15.0. We all had a fun time. Maybe Jason can post some pics. Oh by the way, Jason, sorry for teasing you about your pants. LOL. Ask Rod about it. Later steve Oh, I think we are going to try and make an event next time, the track seems alot better when the big boys run. I'm ready to toss those drag radials, they really havent shown me anything, should of went with the Mickeys ------------------ 94 Crimson #2826 NLOC member #343 Team Powerdyne, 13.49@ 102mph Wanting 12's |

| Guest | Steve sounds like I missed a good time. Also hold off on the MT tires, A friend of mine that races turbo buicks down in the Austin TX area told me that the Hoosier Quick Time Pro's got it all over the mickey's. His buick ran as fast as 134.0 mph in the 1/4 and he drove it on the street regularly. He said the Hoosier's were the only tire that would hook it up. Later Dale PS Congrats on the 13.4, is that a new best? [This message has been edited by Bad as L (edited 08-06-2001).] |

| Guest | Ohh Bad as L, I got a chance to try your K&N filter on my truck. I got to have one. On both runs with it I ran 1.5 MPH more. Since I had traction problems my E.T's were not any better, but we all know higher MPH the better your 1/4 mile time. What is the part #, where do I go to get the best price. Thankyou. Oh and by the way I think your Brother Rod is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. ------------------ 93 red Lightning poly bushings Timing @ 14*BTDC rear exit exhaust straight pipes Under Drive Pulleys Diesel Tube 180* thermostat Build #3949 of 5276 best time:15.031 @ 91.21MPH [This message has been edited by GEN1_4_U_2_NV (edited 08-06-2001).] |
