Post Whats Up?

Hey guys, what have you been doing on your trucks this winter?
I know we had the dyno wars a few weeks ago, but was wondering if anyone completed any interesting mods this winter.
Last week, was detail week for me. The truck got a good bath, then lightly buffed the acid rain deposits off the clear coat, then waxed it with Liquid Glass.
Guys, that has to be the best wax I've ever used. It goes on so nice and comes off easy.
My can is all but gone and am having a hard time getting it locally without mail order. Any ideas? I tried the obviuos places and some auto paint stores too.
Future mods for me will be an addition of a fuel pressure guage and pod.
Cant wait to get out to the drags with my buddy in the blue IROC, you know the one, power brake Craig with the wooden broom stick that holds up his hood. LOL, Want to try out the drag radials, rancho bars, catpipe ect.
Later
Steve

Hey Steve
How ya doin?
Thought I'd tell you about my latest. I finally took my truck down to Performance Exhaust in Pacific about 2 weeks ago and had the long tube headers, high flow cats and 1 very large Magnaflow muffler with dual 4" tips installed. It does run and sound much better. Actually the HP increase was noticeable but not huge, overall I'm very happy with the install. They did nice work.

I wanted to ask you about your air filter, it was noticed that my filter was collapsing slightly when I was on the dyno, and was wondering if you had ever experimented with a larger filter yourself? Might be worth a try.
My next mods will be the 90mm MAF (stock ford 01') larger air filter and chip reburn hopefully by next week.
See ya at the track
(wednesday nights start May 2!!)
Dale
