sorry dude your brother didn't spank anything. He red lighted. Now that would be a close race if he didn't red light.

This is just a guess on my part. but it probably has a transplanted engine. and a turbo, so next time can the lightning run a turbocharged SVO 514?

The Lightning guy does not know how to drive to get a 14.5 out of it or he saw the red light and didn't run hard. the civic would have gotten beat by a few 10ths. Stock 99-00's run high 13's also. Stock 01-02's should be mid 13's to low 13's with a driver that know's how to race.

That car sounds like my electric beard trimmer. Who would waste their money to modify a 4-cylinder, econobox grocery getter? Kids. Btw, my N/A Camaro would smoke that $hit can. 7's, not 13's. See sig...

Thumbs down

Staten Island eh? damn it'd be a waste of gas driving to "school" your punk ***. By calling some one else's ride junk just because you don't like it makes you an ignorant *******.

Actually, it's a $115,000 race car. The Reher-Morrison built 555 cost $22,000...probably more than your whole car. The body is all composite, I chose the 81 Camaro b/c that's the year I was born. It was featured in National Dragster, the official publication of the NHRA.

If you want to see the car sometime, checkout ESPN2 coverage of division 2 races...Tell me, have you ever won an NHRA national event?

13.8? is that supposed to be impressive? you spent a ton of money to make an overgrown lawn mower run slower then every single lightning on the quickest gen 2 1/4 list...

13.8 is pretty impressive for a Civic, plus it looks like some quality work there done on the engine.

I still like my Lightning more, but thats not a bad Civic... a 14.5? Mmm, thats probably a stock 1999/2000 like me. Full weight (5300lbs), I run a 14.3-14.5, stock.

You don't happen to be the same Dan that runs AutoX at the WSCC group do you?
