| Guest |  OOPS(long) Took the little lady out for a little ride in the L on Friday night to see if I could get into some trouble.(very easy in MD) So I am out cruizin in my truck, unwashed from my recent trip to Buffalo, NY.(74.5 inches of snow for those who didn't see the news) So this black S10 SS pulls up along side of me and gives me a couple of revs. So I try to remain calm.(My chicks first ride with me) I wasn't going to run it, but she HAD to ask the question, "Is that faster than your truck?" Aw ****. So I tell her that I would show her. I pull along side of them and tell her when they look over give them the hand over the mouth "yawn". So they look over and both of us give them the sign! Get quite the reaction from them. So I give them a few reves as we pull to a light. The light turns green and BANG(in the words of Emeril) Can of *** Whoopin just opened. Kind of weak kill but it impressed the women so I'll take it. Well we cruize into the local hang out and my friend Dave is out there with my(let him use it) Mustang. So I offer the chick a ride in the Beast. We go out in the Stang and I get into it a couple of times at the same time I am fielding questions like "what is that guage for?, Why do you have two Tacs?, and so on. Well I am at the last light before I am going to turn into the spot and I decide that I haven't really cracked the beast open in a while so what the hell. I launch it like a champ, was only going ot go two gears but I deside to lay it down. I nail third and keep my foot in it, I just as I am nailing fourth and am in my glory I hear the chick say, "Did he turn his lights on for you" refering to the cop that I just went by in the low 100's(in a 45). Aw ****!! I lock up the brakes and am downshifting like Jeff Gordon and make the coolest right turn that I ever thought I could do. I go flying down some side street and duck into someones back yard. Thank god knowbody was home. We decide that we should let is cool off and walk back to the spot. Lesson learned here.....If you go racing bring a jacket, It was a cold walk. | Guest |  I was hoping at the end of the story, SHE was going to keep you warm.  Thats the only part I miss about the 'ol GT. The back seat! ------------------ Rod K. | Guest |  Yeah It was on Ritchie. I went from the light at Crown gas station(away from the mall) all the way untill I seen the cop in the Ford dealership.
