| Guest | Just wondering cause I've been seeing alot around lately if they were pretty quick and how well they handel. If you guys with the R/T's could chime in it would be a great help. We are thinkin about gettin one cause we need something more than jsut L's. Tom 95 White #2278 93 Black #3787 Bassani Powerdyned Edelbrock Performers Motorsports Cam & Lifters Hypertech Chip K&N |

| Guest | In a nutshell, stock-to-stock, L1s and R/Ts are very close in acceleration and handling. Differences are more likey due to drivers. ------------------ Black '99 CC R/T - Shaker, Powerslots, Accel Black '98 WS6 Ragtop 6M -Speedster-Tonneau, Pro 5.0, HPP3, MTI+K&N, custom sub, .... Sorry to disagree, but stock for stock a Lightning will take a R/T every time. Lightning's come Supercharged and a R/T does not. However, you will pay about $10,000 more for a stock Lightning and you can do a lot of mods to a R/T with $10,000. ------------------ 2000 Intense Blue Club Cab R/T - Snug Top Tonneu Cover, Clear Lens Front and Rear, Keystone Ram Air Hood (functional), Painted Handles & Mirrors, Proglass Cuda Roll Pan, Bed Rug, Caltracts, 2" Front,4" Rear Western Chassis Drop, 4" Stroke Crank from MP, Diamond Racing Pistons, Crane Cam's Custom Grind, M-1 Intake, 4 Barrel Throttle Body, R/T Heads with Big Valves, Crane Roller Rockers, Mopar Headers Cermanic Coated, Mopar Valve Covers, Split Second Box, 425 HP and 470 Ft/lb., 2800 Stall Converter, Best 1/4 - 13.00, Best MPH in 1/4 - 108.47, All Motor Work Performed by: Jon Davis/ J.D. Tom, A good used one can be had for around 10-15K right now. If you get a RC then you can get into the 13's with little fuss... maybe 2k worth of mods. the CC's are a bit heavier, so they take more Ive driven a Gen1 and of course an RT, and I feel that stock to stock they are pretty comprable. Tho youll feel like your in a lowrider when you get in the RT Anyway, if you want specifics, yell out, and Ill work on em for ya.Danno ------------------ 98 DA CC R/T 12.99 @ 104.72 | |

| Guest | depending on what model R/T you get, it CAN be $10,000 less. when i sold dodges, my friend gene bought a brand new R/T for about $18,000 after rebates. now, granted, he was a friend and got the truck for invoice minus rebates, but if a Gen2 L stickers for $32,000 and you get a sales dept that doesn't discount 'em, that's about $14,000 in my book...
