Post Some ?'s on R/T's????

Just wondering cause I've been seeing alot around lately if they were pretty quick and how well they handel. If you guys with the R/T's could chime in it would be a great help. We are thinkin about gettin one cause we need something more than jsut L's.

In a nutshell, stock-to-stock, L1s and R/Ts are very close in acceleration and handling. Differences are more likey due to drivers.

Sorry to disagree, but stock for stock a Lightning will take a R/T every time. Lightning's come Supercharged and a R/T does not. However, you will pay about $10,000 more for a stock Lightning and you can do a lot of mods to a R/T with $10,000.

Johnny said a "GEN1 L" is comparable to an RT. And a GEN 2 is less than 10000 bucks more than an RT.

Tom,

A good used one can be had for around 10-15K right now. If you get a RC then you can get into the 13's with little fuss... maybe 2k worth of mods. the CC's are a bit heavier, so they take more Ive driven a Gen1 and of course an RT, and I feel that stock to stock they are pretty comprable. Tho youll feel like your in a lowrider when you get in the RT Anyway, if you want specifics, yell out, and Ill work on em for ya.

depending on what model R/T you get, it CAN be $10,000 less. when i sold dodges, my friend gene bought a brand new R/T for about $18,000 after rebates. now, granted, he was a friend and got the truck for invoice minus rebates, but if a Gen2 L stickers for $32,000 and you get a sales dept that doesn't discount 'em, that's about $14,000 in my book...
