Question Any Sy/Ty owners want to swap with L owners?

Hey, there's an ongoing debate between us all on the performance differences, but how many of us can say we can speak from experience? I had a 95 and now have a 2000, but never drove a Sy or a Ty. So I'd like to know if there is any owners around this area that would like to meet up some weekend at Englishtown, Cecil, Capitol, or really anywhere within reason and swap for a run at the track, or at least for a local run around town to experience eachother's trucks. I'd like to take a Syclone or Typhoon for a drive, but it's not like I can go to the local dealer and test drive one like you can a Lightning. Anyone up for this when the good weather comes back around?

Umm, no. That's a bit too far to go for 20 minutes of fun. Thanks though.

Thumbs up

Devin and I did this this past weekend (1st gen L and 99 R/T). I whipped his truck around, burned his tires off, accelerated to near the 100 mark, but this was nothing to what he did to my R/T! LOL!

But I can say his driving skill sare very impressive.

Talking

I think the off-ramp at 85MPH was probably most impressive. LOL.

It was pretty funny when I was behind him in the Civic and he totally went out of sight on the 4-lane, then we we caught him, he brake TQed the hell outta it. LOL.

It's all good though, he amde some believers that night. Hehe.

I guess I shoulda asked before I busted 100 in it when he said I could take it around once.
:-)

On the actual note though, switching trucks rocks. It was the most automotive related fun since I got my Lightning. It is such a completely all new experience to drive somethign else that's mean, regardless of whether it's slower OR faster. I thoroughly encourage a few guys to try this with someone they can trust their truck to.
TONS of fun!
