| Guest | well...every internal besides the crank will be new, including forged as surfin said as well as a cam, and new heads going onto it. gettin a .030 bore as well. ive been lookin at cranks and there is a crank that puts me at a 320 cubic inch v6, but the stroker crank alone is right at 2000$ so im not gonna go that route. when its running again it should go 12's. later Brett ------------------ 00 4.3 5 speed s-10 xtreme.....13.844@101.06 with 2.134 60 foot Xtreme 4pt3 on aim. www.xtreme4pt3.freeservers.com |

| Guest |  Sorry to hear about your ride! I wondered how long it would last running the times you were running. I have to say I was surprised! Well, now you know the limitations on the stock stuff, and know now where to put your money! Then again, you could sell the go-fast parts, put the S-10 together stock, sell it and get a L!!!! | Guest | honestly i dont think the strokers in reality for me, the crankshaft for that stroker kit alone would run me right at 2000 dollars. i cant afford that in the time frame im looking at. trust me, if i could i would, that cranks suppose to be capable of 800 hp and god knows i will never touch that. later Brett BTW that crank would probably cost me a lot more in parts than im lookin at wanting to get.....ie..transmission, rear end, ect. |
