| Guest | Got blown up on by a super low 911 at lunch yesterday. I was at a four way stop sign and this new looking 911 is at the sign to my left. He turnes right by my truck,i had my window down and saw the driver looking at the truck and then a little backfire, then all hell broke loose and it sounded like a fighter jet taking off,i swear the rear end of this car was only an inch off the ground,i have never heard anything like it on the street! The car had no badges and was real low,and realy big tires. I have seen him befor on this road and i use it a lot and have jumped on it at this same intersection so maybe ill catch him some time,or i may just watch out for him!!!!!!!!! ------------------ 2001 WHITE XXX LIGHTNING BD 02-19-01 #1045 RD 02-26-01 JL diablo chip JL Lower pulley stock belt JDM filter kit BASSANI headers and catbacks NGKTR6 PLUGS FRPP single blade throttle body FRPP 2" drop all around |

| Guest | Sweet. You should have run him though. He would have smoked your balls off but it would have been fun. I caught a modina 360 at a light one night. I have heard them running the 1/4 in 12.1 to 12.9's stock and the guy obviously couldn't drive it. I was pretty modded at the time so I gave him the old VROOMMMMMMMM!!!! The light turned green that the guy just sat their as I rocketed away. At the next light the guy was like "Nice truck man" I just wanted to choke him. This was a chance of a lifetime to have a Lightning Race a Ferrari Modina 360 infront of a whole crowd of traffic and possibly win. Why drive a Ferrari or Vette or what ever if your not going to race it. I race people in my ford Explorer. There is more competition anyway! |

| Guest | From the description it might be the Porsche 911 GT2 which came out a few months ago. I was at the Auto Show here in the SF Bay Area last week and they had one on display. They are lower than the 911 Turbo and they have wider tires as well. They also come standard with 450 hp. You're right LightningfastSVT it would be fun just messing around with the Porsche. | Guest | If it was a GT2 don't go after him. It is 1 of the fastest street cars out on the market today. It is almost as fast as a McLaren F1. Just a warning. If its a 911 Turbo go for it if your modded enough. Just look out for the 60 to 100 range their nuts. | Guest | Did it have a big, funnylooking spoiler on it,or was it integrated with the rearend, the GT2 has a big wing, with downturned ends. The regular turbo has a small one that deploys at 70mph. Be careful, there is a new 450 hp engine upgrade option from the factory for 02' turbos. I went for a ride in a 01', it was incredible, they aren't near as loud inside, but the acceleration is like no other car, it's like taking off in a jet. It's still sweet to hear those turbos spool up. Jason Brown 94'-1928 |
