I am heading home form work and I get stuck behind this mustang (lx body). We are on a 3 lane rd and I am 2nd back behind this mustang at the light. He sounded pretty heavy so I start checking his ride out. I look in his back window and notice a roll cage, tach, shift lite and lots of gages. I'm thinking this could be cool! The light turns green and he takes off normally (still way faster than the traffic). As soon as i'm clear I gun it around him and right as I get in the other lane about equal to his back window, he floors it. We ran even for a sec then he just slowly walked away. I was very proud of him. He shuts down and I drive up to his window and give him the thumbs up (should have done a ricer fly by

lol). He is very cool and I go ahead of him on my jolly way. At the next light, I am at the turning lane and he slowed for the traffic. Right as he passes me, he slowed down and all I hear is psst psst psssssst psst psssssssssstttt. Darn NOS. He sure is lucky I didn't have mine. Anyways, good kill for him. I take my beating like a champ and look for another.

Sounds like a good race, where we're you when it happened? What color was it?, etc. I may get the chance to run into him and maybe his bottle will be dry or maybe my mods will be enough.

It started on SR 301 at the Bloomingdale intersection and we went towards riverview. He was white and gray, no tint, a 4" cowl (what fox body doesn't have one), chromed out wheels (drag looking though) with very fat rear tires. He was pretty damn quick. The driver was about 30-35 with a shaved head and a go-tee (spelling?)

The exact situation happened to me about three weeks after I got my Lightning (& still believed I was invincible). Thats what led to all the mods, including a little "go-go juice". I met up with the same guy again about two weeks after the mods & it was a different story. This guy was in a Mustang GT with all that stuff you described & what sounded like some cam work. Payback in "it's just a truck" sure feels good on those Mustang guys!

Hell yea I would have raced him. I'll race anything. Hell if I staged up with an f16 fighter jet, I would go after his *** too!!!

The street bikes around here think i'm nuts! but I'm getting close!!!
