Post 2 kills in a row

Well i was coming home from long john silvers in my truck tonight with two of my friends.(one who has a gen2 L) When a purple mustang GT with a cowl hood (96-98 model) pulls up next to me revving. Nice looking car. So naturally I revved back and we took off I pulled him pretty hard. We came to a stop sign and we took off, same thing. So we are going the back way to my house and they are following. All of the sudden a car passes them and gets on my ***. A cavalier with a big can exhaust. We then turn right towards my house on a two lane road and the cavalier pulls up next to me and we take off. Blow him away too. I raced the mustang one more time because last time I killed one and posted it ppl said he probably wasnt racing. I pulled him hard again. So I pulled into a gas station right by my house and they both pulled in also. They were buddies I found out and they are in a car club. Hybrid Revolution? They were both suprised how bad i beat them both. They then followed me to my house to see my friends jeff Gen2 L. They were pretty nice guys. And they asked if me and Jeff wanted to join their car club. Just thought id let ya know.

Are you sure the guy in the gt was racing, or were you in your corvette??. I can't see a silverado with those mods beating a gt mustang. The cavalier is very believable but I don't know about the mustang. No flame man, I just need a better understanding of what your running.

I'm having a hard time believing someone in a Mustang would pull up next to a seemingly stock pickup (from your mods list) and start revving? If it's true, what a chump and Good kill. Like Lightningfast said, I can easily see you spanking a cavalier, the king of trailer park rice.

Look at Silverado's 1/8th mile time. It's right there with that year model Mustang. His kill is more than believable if that Mustang had only minor bolt ons or was stock. But I don't know why someone would go cosmetics first (cowl hood) before performance on a Mustang, but who knows these days.

Good kill!

I don't think that heavy *** silverado would make up for the gt's 1/4 in the 2nd 1/8th mile. He also stated "I pulled him pretty hard". I don't know, but I am lacing up the boots right now

The 96-98 GTs werent that fast. Stock, they went low 15s to HIGH HIGH 14s. They only had about 25 lbft of torque at 2500rpm. Id say he would beat them in the 1/8th and maybe get passed right at the line in the 1/4.
GOOD KILL!

Just the replies I was expecting. First, If ya dont believe me call 817-946-9263. Ask for Sontharong Dok? He gave me his card. Im sure he would tell you what happened. Second, two of my best friends have 5.0's neither are stock and I beat them both in the 1/8th and in the 1/4. My friend with the 95 GT runs 9.9x in the 1/8. The friend with the 90 GT runs 9.55. My truck also does not look stock. Its black with all badges removed and red bowties replacing them. I have a new bumber with fog lights, A billet grille, And the back is lowered to match the front. Ill post a pic if someone will let me email it to them. And post it for me.

Cool

Silverado, email me your pic. I'll post it for you. dar_missouri@yahoo.com
Also I had a 96 Mustang GTS. Ran a 15.0@94 in the 1/4 with 3.73s, 5-speed, and no mufflers or tailpipes. The 96-98 stangs are turds. It'll take some mods to get them going good.

Thx MO, Ill send one to you as soon as I scan it. This guy I raced had dumped exhaust, I could see his cold air induction under his bumber and he said he had gears??
Must be a log? I was really surprised.
