| Guest | What would u expect, look at my sig. But it was cool. My friends and I were on our way back from Ennis 1/4 mile track and I was in my truck, my friend jeff was in his gen2 L (he ran a 13.8 last night) and one friend in an 89 mustang GT and the other in a 95 GT(both who i beat btw ) Anyways we were all coming down I20 and there was a red z28 up in front of us breaking, so we could catch up. I ran him first and it wasnt bad at up until about 80 and then nothing but taillights and then Jeff ran him with his L and it was also good but jeff lasted longer than i did with him but the z still pulled on us all. It was fun though. About 1 a.m. and not much traffic so we all had lots of fun racing. ------------------ 2001 Black Silverado 5.3L K&N, Flowmaster Exhaust, Hypertech Reaction: .530 60ft: 2.303 330ft: 6.400 1/8 ET: 9.796 1/8 MPH: 72.85 1000 Ft: 12.693 1/4 ET: 15.164 1/4 MPH: 90.45 1978 Corvette 383 Stroker, alum. heads holley 750, MSD distributor, wires, and coil. | Guest | Joe, what gives? First you say your friend in the L runs a 13.80 and you beat him running a 15.164? Now either I am doing the math wrong or you are a Chevy owner. Forget being beat by the other car.....more importantly you were beat by a FORD Lightning. Bye Bye, Nat ![]() |

| Guest | If you read correctly... i said i beat both gts. No sh!t I cant beat an L. Duhhhh ![]() Oh yeah, I am a chevy owner and a proud one at that. I have a little chevy that might give u a run for your money. Not the silverado. Joe [This message has been edited by Silverado (edited 09-10-2001).] |

| Guest | Joe, my my....the defensive attitude of a Chebby driver too? Lets all remember that you have "something" that you don't list that "could beat" the other guys car/truck. Most importantly we, the Lightning owners already posess that "something". Take care now. Nat ![]() |
