1st gen question

im hearing that the fuel pressure leans out on higher RPM's as i read and read and try to decipher the abbreviations but my question is if i run two walbro 255's will this fix the lean out problem or is it just because of the fuel pressure of the tanks thank you

It leans out because they only have 155lph pumps (or at least somewhere around there). Guys are running a 2 pup trick that turns both fuel pumps on at the same time, as well as an inline pump. This provides enough fuel to go pretty fast. There are also a few guys that have sumped their rear tank and ran a dedicated fuel system with two 255lph pumps.

The question is, how thick is your wallet and how fast do you want to go

Well what I want is the truck to have is around 600 hp money doesn't matter but what I'm worried about is if I do the two pump trick do I need two fuel gauges and I want to keep the front tank because I don't want to have toworry about where the next gas station is and also could some one point me to where I can find a nice sex of fuel rails and injectors and lines thank you

Check out Jeff's thread. He built a fuel system that kept the front tank.

I finally fired the fuel system up...
