eh.. this kit is already complete its from another 4.2l v6 f150

also its ceramic coated (doesnt look like it anymore)

to redo the wastegate piping and the angle for the turbo flange id also have to modify the downpipe for the wastegate but that might nto be so hard. i just dont know how id be a ble to modify the piping since its ceramic coated. maybe ceramic coating can be removed with a grinder? i dont know

he said his radiator was about an inch away. his was a 97 so maybe it used a different radiator than my 03? maybe the motor sits further back? i dont know know

he said he moved his radiator forward anyway to give him more room :-/

if worst comes to worst ill cut it at the welds right before the y pipe and cut off the wastegate pipe. and change the angle of the turbo flange. then make a new pipe for the wastegate and just make sure it matches up to the downpipe.. if not ill adjust it on the down pipe too.

i can then clock the turbo so the pipe that goes to the intercooler fits too

I am working on trying to lean my radiator forward about an inch at the top, but it may not be enough for the space that you need.

The radiator looks like it will be easy; it's the condenser that is more complicated. It uas to lean forward also, but it won't clear the upper core support, yet. I am still working on that. I'll post up pics when I have a good solution.

thanks for the info!

im pulling the radiator. installing the rest of my turbo setup and trailering the truck to a shop off of 2920 out by telge.

this shop has done all the work on my Bullitt Mustang since it was new. so im having them modify all the a/c lines and move the a/c condenser back some i figure the upper core support will have to be cut and modified which is fine.

i just dont want to lose my a/c and i want my truck back on the road!

It shoulnt have to be cut, I am just going to mod the mounts so the top will fit under the upper core support. I only need a fraction of an inch, maybe 1/8".

I meant I only need 1/8" to get the top of condenser to lean forward under the upper core support. I will probably lean the top of the radiator forward 1-2". My turbo clears the rad by about 3/8' on the top, and about 1.5" from the actual core, so I don't need as much room as you, but it looks like you could make up a few inches if needed. Your fan setup will come into play at some point

yeah, i just meant that you can only go forward so far until your fans hit the grille support. i have about 1.5" or so there, before moving anything.

i'm on the west side, pretty much right at westheimer and the beltway. also i have a build thread on **
