Really depends on the power level.. I use 1.5" to 1.75" I.D. primaries up to around 800hp. Anything over 900, for sure, you should be running 1.75" to 2" primaries.

There is going to be a build going on, just trying to find some info befor i put the welder to work, as for turbo i am looking at a 76 GTS, not trying make big big power but just enough say 650 to 700. I have though about it long and hard and i just cant just see spending over 4 grand for a different blower, when i can build a turbo kit for half that price. So yes there is going to be a build as soon as i get my turbo mustang tuned so i cant put the L down.

I used Flipped Ford Shorties with my 76mm setup. I believe they are 1.5" primaries.

Ya i though about the flipped header deal but, i cant find any that i like to use. so i just rather build my own, i am quit picky on the way things look and how they work.

I can vouch for him being picky. LOL I was looking and think the new precision 80mm GTS would be bad-*** or an ST-80

I made 1040/992 with 1.625" primaries.. Any bigger would just hurt spool time at my elevation. I don't believe bigger primaries are really going to help anyone making less than 1200rwhp. They'll just cause a drop in velosity and decrease spool time.

Also, I'm building my friends single gt4276 03 cobra and using 1.625" on his headers as well. His car should make close to 900

what would you reccomend for over 1200???

i am wanting to do a big bore billet stroker (push the liters to over 6) down the road so my turbo's are sized accordingly... i would hate to do headers 2x...

i was thinking 1.75" primaries if not 2" 2" is getting alittle extreme i think...

btw i deleted where you got your parts (tubing) from... could you send me another PM with it... theres one here in dallas...
