will it work with my set-up

Ok, I've got a 94 L 408 all forged, 3000 stall, MA swap, I've got the fuel system done, would a precision T-70 work well with my stuff? I'm about tapped on what my S-trim can handle

I'd go bigger than a 76 but thats just me. A 408 should move an 80 or so mm turbo quite well. Kinda depends on what your wanting the truck for.

I don't know how much I'm looking for, but when I get there I'm sure I'll still want more

70mm turbo would be a step backward for you IMHO, even though precision makes a damn good turbo, it would be a good street turbo at that size only, but you like to race. If you want to go turbo and be fast with a stroker, I'd go with the PT88 just like Ray runs, even the 88 with a T4 flange would be killer, the 3" down pipe is way too small to keep the truck in the high tens like your potential is now with the strim.

look into the s400 turbos...

they are really starting to come out... you will end up with a s480 that can support 1400 hp... with that big of a motor i would do twin t70s lol..

I agree with Dallas. The S-series turbos are considerably cheaper than what the big name turbo company turbos of the same sizes are going for. And people are making stupid power with them. I have been doing a little research on them for my 03. Should check them out. I feel that a t70 will choke your 408 as much as the s-trim will. They will make power up to a point but, it won't take much to be out of their power range.

T-70 or even a T-76 would create some major backpressures with a 408. Like was said above an S400 or a Pt-88 are ideal turbos for that size of motor.

I'm in love with the idea of a turbo but, it's so cheap and easy to go t-trim! Even better, the YS someone here suggested. If it's not intercooled, do that too!

If you have to go turbo, I'd say look into a PT8847 with a t5 flange. 1.15 a/r on the turbine should work real nice on that big cube Windsor.
