Help with e-boost RPM Signal.

I've been trying to install an MSD tach adapter on my 02 lightning in order to get an RPM reading for my e-boost guage.

I followed the instruction but for some reason i cant get the e-boost to recognize the RPM's.

Below is a pdf of the msd instructions.

http://www.msdignition.com/instructi...pdf?terms=8913

So far I spliced the red/green wire into the red/green wire on the very last coil pack on my drivers side. The red/green from the coil went to the red/green from the adapter and the red from the adapter went to the white w/ red stripe on that same coil. The Grey wire from the MSD went to the tach wire on the e-boost, and the ground(black wire) from the MSD went to the battery ground. I hope you guys understand what i'm saying.

So for some reason i'm still not getting a signal. Am i doing this correctly and is this the easiest way to get a correct RPM signal?

Do I even need the tach adapter??

just hook it to the green wire that would go to a tach.
