Is this a blow through set up? I have a godzilla 44mm BOV. From the searching I did anywhere from 40-50mm BOV's seem to be working good

to vent to atmosphere you need to have the bov before the maf that way the air isnt accounted for... after the maf you need to recirulate it...

look at the synase or how ever you spell it... they have a pretty bad *** bov and wastegate setup.. i will be running it...

I was venting to atmo after the maf, you just need to know how to tune for it.

If you are venting, so to a blow thru A2A... Its the best and easiest way to do it... That what I did... I have a Tial 50mm for the T76gts

a blow thru is more accurate i think...

if your gonna do a draw thru then if you goto the track and want to run your turbo setup with no airfilter you cant.. nates is a blow thru setup...

blow thru means the maf is on the outlet side of the turbo/blower... the stock eaton setup is a draw thru...

on a draw thru its pretty damn hard to get a vent to atmosphere setup to work correct...

So what are you saying? to run a blow through setup and vent before the maf? The kit I bought came off of Denali_on_26's truck. It was setup to draw through but since all that piping was melted in the fire I'll have a clean slate to start from.

I started as a draw through and went with blow through. It is easier to tune with the blow through. Vent to atmo before the MAF.

If you are determined to go draw through, then you can still vent to atmo and is a better option than recirc. Here is how

this is for you to Rhyno (you have to tell me how you ended up with Rhyno)
anyway here goes:

when running a draw through the air is metered in the system and when the time comes the bov vents. when you do a recirc, most of the time it messes with the maf signal (noise) and also introduces hot air back into the system. When you vent to atmo the metered air is lost so the motor will load up. This is due to the fact it cannot react fast enough to the O2 sensors. What needs to be done in the tune to accommodate for this is have the system ignore the maf (same as you would if it pegged), but at lower rpm. Say 1000 and below it will run off of the base fuel table.

I had much better luck venting to atmo and even better from that going blow through. PMAS makes a great blow through meter, as well as SCT and SNIPER

doing a blow through would be turbo - bov - maf
doing a draw through would be maf - turbo - bov
