Funds.... you need MAD funds to go with a 4v and make it look good and function properly. I STILL have yet to see a good running 4v truck besides fuzzies. I know they are probably out there but i haven't seen them... they are not proven, again besides fuzzies.. but he has an aluminum block! (so that thing better be fast haha)

on the turbo selection.....
NO QUESTION hands down the 60-1s will be 100% more fun to drive on the street! either combination will make about the same amount of power as long as you have the plumbing right for your twins.. depending on what 88 you would go with would depend on how well is spools, power it makes and so forth...

If your looking for a FUN street truck that you dont have to POOR tons of money into i would go with a set of garrett 60-1s and keep your two valve motor for now.. I made the numbers in my sig with a set of precision pt61 t3/t4 hybrid turbos and this thing is a BLAST to dive on the street!! It was also done on a 2v motor. I would NEVER consider putting an 88mm turbo one of these trucks with the crappy selection of transmission modifications for the 4r100 (transbrake). as well as me living at over a mile high in elevation that thing would be a DOG on the street..

Im switching from an air to air IC to an air to water similar to the stock setup but MUCH larger..

I can also build you and intake for your two valve turbo kit if you decide to do so

Look at the new precision turbos billet 62s... .

I have been looking at them hard core...

If you decide on a single set up, you can look at mine for sale in the classifieds... a Precision 88 will bolt directly to my kit and I would sell the kit without the T76 that is on my kit now... My made right at 700 rwhp on pump gas and 20# and that was cutting it off at 5400 rpms... So if you wind it out with an 88, I am sure the number would be huge... Of course I did send you an offer on my kit minus the T76... Let me know if it close to what you want to pay

The 4V's flow close to Stage III head numbers in STOCK form. You can port them and get some serious air moving, which would help that 88 come online quicker. Of course, being a 4V Turbo guy, I'm slightly biased .

Haha Thanks Nate.......I think lol..........Yeah just kinda decides on what your wanting to do with the truck and how much money you have to spend. I decided to go with GT500 heads, Ford GT cams, and Ford GT shortblock with billit I-beam rods. For a turbo I went with a PT-91mm G-Trim..........And guys dont give up on the 4R100 as Brian at BTS has his new transbrake almost finished up and will be sending it to PSI Motorsports for us to test on one of the turbo trucks at the shop. It will be awesome from talking with Brian about it the other day. I will defenitly keep everyone posted on the progress of this transmission.

you're welcome chad(right?)... You're truck is one of my favorites! Plus it's silver and that's obviously the fastest color! I really want some more info on this transbrake that brian is working on!! Before I spent 1100+ on a 62mm turbo I would probably go with a set of garrett gt35r turbos.. I'm gonna call dan at Hyperformance and talk to him about these new billet wheels..

so I talked to dan about those billet turbos and he said they have quite a bit longer fins because they are machines outta aluminum instead of cast. The rotating mass is less so they spool quicker. Also precision is just about to release a billet 76 that is based on the 76gts but is rated over 100whp more as well as offering a dual BB. He's said I have the option, with my pt61s to swap to a billet wheel.. Pretty cool if you ask me! So that's the info I got....

If I don't sell my T76 set up, I might pick up that billet 76... Nate PM me some info on that or a price that Dan thinks they will go for... Most seem to like the billet 62's better than the gt35r's

your not the only one lol..

it does take some coin to goto a 4v setup...

intake alone is 1k the 2v intakes are 750 with rails... so theres alittle difference...

the navi heads flow pretty much what a stage III 2v head do.. and i am having my heads ported and they should flow well over 300 cfm closer to the 320 330 area... along with a sick set of cams.. the 4v with the same turbo setup as a 2v would walk all over it... but of course there is probably 3-4k more into it also.. so it should...

i went from a 2v to a 4v cause i know some people who made it possible for me to do a 4v setup and not be out anymore then i would if i did a ported 2v setup.. btw if you need 2v turbo cams i have some 400 plus shipping.. brand new in box...

LOL just messin with ya. And of course silver is fastest. Once yours gets going down the track and mine gets all the bugs out of it once it hits the track we are gonna walk all over those DSG boys. Well stock frame DSG trucks (that's for Sinister haha)............I will definitely keep you posted on the trans brake from BTS. It will be a large stepping stone for all of the turbo trucks out there.

There are gonna be more silver turbo trucks than anything I dont have much experience with turbos on these truck but I can tell you that smaller twins will be a lot more fun on the street than one massive turbo.

If you want to be specific, "DSG Pearlcoat" will be the fastest color.
