How many are satisfied with your pts kits?

Exactly what the title says . I have asked a couple guys how they like there kits and got mixed reactions so I'm want to hear from everybody that has this kit . Thanks

NOBODY!! Every person on here that has a PTS kit has either modified it or has had no luck with it. Build your own turbo kit, its cheaper and will work with no hastles.. also you wont have to wait for the unbelievable amount of time it takes those people to get a kit out.... I personally didn't even think they were still making stuff for the L...

Well I found one that is new that a tuner is selling only one kit left . I have only heard of fitment issues nothing more thats why I'm asking . And is there a way to make my own tubro kit ? Where would I be able to find piping for our trucks ? I don't have a local speed shop that is worth a damn around here and just got into the turbo scene so I'm just now getting around to learning about them and finding placing that sell kits .

You can give PSI Motorsports in Houston a call. They do excellent work and another MS. member just got his set up from them. He has a thread with pics and everything. His name is Thomas(Denali on 26's). I have a PTS kit and so far so good but there were fitment issues.

Yea I know of him . But this kit is going for 5000 for everything isn't this a good deal (intake,BOV,wastegate,piping,blankets,headers, 16" pusher fans,oil lines)? Just trying to get ya'll in put . I have heard it makes good power . Than I hear alot of people saying it sucks but only due to fitment issues . Hven't heard anything bad other than that so far . Like I said wondering ya'll opinion.

PTS sucks ***... the BOV, wastegate, and piping all need replacing from their kit... Ask me how I know... Also, I have to go back in now because their ****ty welds broke where the pipes come into the collector on the headers and I now have an exhaust leak...

You can easily build one cheaper...

I have the headers with cracked weld, the hat, turbo, and the crossover pipe left and that is it... It will stall on you like nothing else too...

I found numbers to call I will see what I can come up with monday but I only got 2 numbers . Can you guys give me some numbers are something maybe. I have a stock motor with stock trans for right now but I'm trying to get it and put it on with low boost . And have it for later but I don't want to buy a ****y kit and than have to buy it again later down the road . THANKS FOR EVERYTHING SO FAR GUYS HELPED ALOT .

I guess I've had better luck with my PTK stuff than the rest of the people on here. I think it would be good for a stockish truck on low boost, but if you want big HP numbers later on you are gonna need to rework stuff.

My orginal plan was to get a custom fab setup but the guy I was gonna have do it had some major life issues and backed out.

I didn't realize that you were that close to PSI, if you have the time (or patience) to send your truck off to them go that way. I've heard pretty good things about their work too.

Also 5k seems a little high for just the piping and valves, I'm sure I gave less than that but mine came direct from PTK.

And I live in mississippi not to far off from texas. But at the same time no ofense to anybody that has the money to send it out . But I would like to put the kit on myself . I 'm sure it will be a couple weeks before I get it done but I just like the thought of me doing everything on my truck . So I can honestly say it's my truck . Not someone else did the work on my truck for me .

And no one cares about your own truck like you . Once again no ofense to anyone or thier work but I want to put the kit on myself.

But I just got off phone with PSI and I'm pretty sure i'm going to go with them . They said they got pretty good number on stock blocks . Well thanks for everything guys .

I started off with a PTK and all I have left is the headers and blanket. I went to a Blow tru maf and love it. PTK couldn't build a blow off that wouldn't make the stock MAF go crazy. Go with PSI for sure!

PTK does not even exist anymore. They filed chapter 7 and took off with everyones money.
