Thumbs up Turbo guys, what fuel system are you running

So i am almost done gathering parts for my build. I have a built engine and trans, navi heads and a sullivan intake and rails, and still deciding on a t-76 or 88 mm turbo. I am wanting to make 700 to the wheels. Right now i have the twin 255/60lb./sct 2400 left over from when I had my whipple. I really only want to do it once, so will this fuel set-up get me there safetly or what should i be using? what about the stock lines and do i need a aftermarket regulator? Also any advice on what turbo to go with?
thanks for any input on this.

Ryan

Im also gonna be running a GT47 T88. My fuel system is an Aeromotive top kit w/ fpr, rails, and 60lb(for now) injectors. Im sumping my tank and running 2 Weldon 600-A's outside the tank. I will be running -8 feed and -6 return. Using my stock sending unit for the fuel gauge. Also a Weldon filter.

I will most likely swap over to the Metco rails after I get an intake nailed down. Im running my 2v heads.

You can make 700rwhp with the fuel system you have, but it'll be on the edge, and you won't have room for much more. I'm running a GT47-88 and my fuel system will consist of 3 Ford GT pumps, -8 and -6 lines, Aeromotive rails and regulator, and 96# injectors with a driver. Should let me turn it up as much as I want.

-8 feed and -6 return here with a aeromotive regulator

i am having the hat modified so i can run all of it...

didnt you do something different..plus you had a wiring upgrade right?? DETAILS MAN DETAILS....

i also have a set of 1 off rails and a sheetmetal intake vs yours....

on the nitrous are you running a single 255 and race gas or you pumping off your "stock" system????

Twin 255's with Sullivan 8-AN rails and 60# injectors. Running stock from the tank to an 8 AN splitter for each rail, then back to a 6-AN return.

staying with dual 255s but upgraded everything else. 79# high Z injectors(No driver required) -8 feed lines -8 all throughout the engine bay, metco rails, aeromotive regulator, -6 back into the tank.. should be fine.. dual 255s are good for a lot of power..

Weldon 2035 -12 feed y'd to -10 Sullivan rails with 150# injectors regulated by an Aeromotive Pro Series regulator and a -10 return on the race truck.

Running a BG King Sumo with a -10 feed, Works Power Rails, 60# injectors, BG regulator and a -8 return on the street truck.

As far as the turbo I'd either should make 700RW but I would lean towards the T-4 based 88 out of the 2 you mentioned. If you got the coin though the GT-45 t-4 housed DBB would be an awesome turbo for your set-up. Nearly twice the coin though.

My .02 is if you are buying a fuel system buy it once!! A few bucks more the first time is always cheaper than doing it twice. Especially once the turbo bug bits ya'!

Frank made well over 700 HP to the wheels on twin 255's, stock lines from the tank, and 60# injectors. I really don't want to replace the lines from the tank forward, so I'm going to see what kind of numbers I can get with this setup first.

PSI is building a hat to accept the 3 pumps. I'm not sure what wiring they're going to run. The fuel for the nitrous will pull off the stock system. One day I might make a seperate fuel system for it.
