it's a way to launch with boost. Put the truck in neutral, press on the brakes HARD,rev the motor 2-3 times. You will feel the brake pedal go down a little.(this is done to eliminate VAC)After doing this your boost gauge will be at zero. Put the truck back to drive. Stall it up and watch the boost gauge. Should see boost going up on your guage. Atleast on a Sy/TY

Spooling...

Have great fun
"gettin th spool
right" I spent a year and a boatload of cash chasin th spool. I personally have found it to be as elusive as an oyster in a bowl full of oysters.
I appreciate those who attain the elusive 90% spool. You are to be respected...

Did it for years in my Typhoon. I'd definitely practice. You don't want to be the guy in the lanes that accidentally releases the HOOD LEVER instead of the Parking break lever at 5 pounds of boost. I forget his name...oh yeah... it was me

and Ronnie: the oyster known as spool is only a transbrake away my friend.

If you can build 7lbs on the street you can do same on the track. Don't overheat the converter while you are playing.

This what I worry about. I have the Superduty cooler added. I hope this will let me powerbrake a little more often.

+1 This is what happen to me. To much line pressure and making the pump work harder caused failure.
