Where do you guys redline? I am going to get my custom grind cam and they want to know what my maximum RPM will be.

Just wanted to see how much you guys are reving your trucks.

My truck is set up to shift at 6200 RPM. I think I could go higher but why take chances.

Kept the RPMs down on mine since it was stock engine. Max RPM was about 5600 at the top end of the track and I had it shifting around 5400 or so.

Was told to set mine at 6200-6300 to be safe. I'm a 4V setup, so not sure that helps. They definitely rev.

6500-7k here also...


on a 2v u should stay in the 6000-6400 max area... 6200 if a safe spot kinda...
