| Turbo Inside! | Torque Converter sent back Well, I got the tranny out Saturday to have sent back to the transmisson shop for inspection on why it wont hold 550hp. While it is out, I sent back the TC to PI. It is a 3600 stall 3disk 10.5 . When the TC was in the truck it would flash to 3400 and build to 4200 in 5sec. A little loose for my liking. What do you think I should get as a re-stall? I was thinking 3000. With the old 3600 it would heat the transmisson on the highway at 80mph. ANd it wasn't building boost as I thought it would with the higher stall. With my 2800 stall it would build 2lbs and with the 3600 it would build 4lbs. Not worth the lack of powerband and heat. Need a little help when PI calls next week on what to tell them. |
