snow SafeInjection Wastegate Solenoid ?

Ok my I already have a snow performance kit on my truck. But my brother had one on his cobalt ss also and he put his car back to stock and gave me his whole methanal kit and his kit had the SafeInjection™ Bypass Valve Solenoid. Now im not really sure wat this does or even how to install it. I was trying to read up on wat it actually does on snows website but i dont get it so any help will be great.

it is used to keep the bypass open. For example, you tune your truck with 18 psi and the meth kit. For some reason the meth kit is not working correctly, you would end up with too much timing and or a lean condition which will cause damage. Instead the solenoid would limit boost to say 12psi until the issue is corrected.
