Ordered some more pipe for the wastegate and downpipe work, but my guy is cranking. Figured I'd make a separate thread so it looks like this subforum is jamming, and maybe a few other L guys will take the turbo plunge.

Nothing like blowing 1,000 dollars on payday.. time to bust out the PB&J

Driver's side all welded up and clamped. ABS is yanked.

SCT BA2800 MAF is in place.

Passenger Side looking good

Turbo will sit right about here. Gives me 12" in front of it for a K&N or I may do some ducting.

Here's the clearance shot. The ONLY thing I'm concerned about is the balancer and the rubber boot around it. I will ceramic coat them, and the fan IS blowing across the pipe. I'm going to throw a post up on Turbomustangs and see what the guys think.

All in all my truck is coming together faster than I can pay for it :lol: I told the guy to take his time while I replenish my funds. I can't wait to get the hot side ceramic coated and the cold side powdercoated. It's going to look great imo.

youll be fine with the exhaust there. THe coating will help a ton.. I too am getting everything ceramic coated. There is a shop here in town that specializes in it so its a little easier than sending it off to jet hot or some where else. I stil have a ways to go in order to take everything off and get it coated..
