| I'm a Fool for Spool. Paid Member | Blow off valve location revisited OK, my welder is at the point that it's time to plumb my 52mm Turbosmart Raceport in. From most of the installs I've see (blow through at least), they are moutning the BOV near the Air/Air unit down low close to the Turbo outlet. I have 26 inches of straight pipe before my TB, so my welder was wondering if that's enough to mount the BOV in a more visible area up in the engine compartment. It would be TB --> BOV--> MAF. The BOV does look nice, I must say, but I'm worried about backflow and chatter in the MAF signal. I want my truck to RUN right more than I want it to LOOK right, but if I can have my cake and eat it too.. well.. ![]() |
