How should i run my nitrous and meth

Ok i have a intercooler sprayer then i have another nitrous kit i was going to spray a 50 shot to help spool the turbo faster.. But i also have a methnol kit can i use both nitious and meth if so where should i spray each one at?

I will take a stab at this one.

First off throw the intercooler sprayer away if its a nitrous or CO2 one, its proven the don't do much for power. One spraying ice cold water might be helpful though, if your doing that might as well get a power cooler.

You want to put the nitrous and meth in about the same place as the SC guys right before or after the throttle body.

Tuning will be fun with is one due to all the varibles.

If your fuel system will support it you could just keep the nitrous on for the whole pass and skip the meth. Just another idea.

You could also spray the nitrous in to spool up the turbo and cut it off at about 5 to 10 psi. The bring the meth in later around 15 psi and ramp it up as the boost comes up getting it to 100% about 3lbs shy of max boost.

Just some ideas for you, you should have your hands full with this one.

I run both.

take the spray bar off. It helps but you dont need it with your setup.

I have my meth and nitrous in the same spot. just behind the TB. I have the meth on a maf controller so that it sprays more as the boost comes up. The meth does a good job at cooling by itself, but the main deal is the boost in octane. The nitrous is on an eboost controller so that it sprays full on bottom and ramps down as the boost comes up.

basically nos full to ramp down as boost comes up, meth down ramp to full as boost comes up.

ehh... i will just have a window switch with a progressive controller...

i wouldnt run them both.. nitrous is going to cool down way more then the meth would even think about helping out...

a 50 shot is okay.. but if you haev a built bottom end.. i would say do atleast a 75 shot...

my setup will be 8 nozzles in the runner and 1 nozzle behind the TB so i will have a 2 stage system to spray my itty bitty 2 stage setup...


i can see skidmark keeping the meth as you can have the meth on most of the time since it is 10x cheaper then nitrous...

meth is nice.. but if you are using the meth for race.. might as well as goto a nitrous setup and really see night and say....

how much more timing is it allowing for??? 1-2 degrees???

depends on the boost. I like one power adder, and use alternate options to increase that performance, such as run a **** load of boost and use nitrous to spool up to that boost. use the meth to keep the intake temps cool and raise the octane level. On 20 psi I can increase by 12 degrees on pump gas.

tuning for it is not that hard, just have to get you math right for the nozzle size etc.

Wow seems complicated.. But the spray bar really does nothing it came free in the kit its not worth using then. But my bottom ends not built so ya have to be careful. O and dry nitious is wat i want the 50 shot to be right

i think i am gonna try the whole nitrous by itself first then depending on how that works out... maybe meth...

meth is alot more cheaper... well kinda depending on the form you get it in...
