couple question about my turbo kit

well all the pipes for my turbo have been test fitted and it all works i just need to find the v-band clamps does anyone know where the cheapest place to find them are (didn't know they where so expensive lol) And another stupid question I have a buddy with a powder coater and he will do it for free if i buy the powder will my exahst piping get to hot to powder coat them or will it be okay to do.. Wat have u guys done to your piping?

Ebay FTW! =P I got a 3'' vband & flange for $35 and like 8 bucks for shipping (alaska).

I'd imagine the exhaust would get too hot (powder cures at what .. 300 or 400 degrees?)

. Ceramic coat it!

Ceramic coat your exhaust for sure. You can also coat the exhaust housing or get a blanket like I did.

What kind of v-band clamp do you need? Aluminum or steel? :: Hyperformance Motorsports Racing :: has them both as well as RacePartSolutions - Fast Parts At Discount Prices and powder coat will not work on hotside parts
