Texas Truck Shootout

HRP (Houston Raceway Park) use to have such an event. They cancelled it due to lack of interest, only 300 entries. If we all would write them and ask that they re-new this event maybe we can get it going again here in the south. There were some jet powered 18 wheel tractor trailer units that appeared, along with a jet powered pick-up.
Gerald at HRP - gm@houstonraceway.com would be a great place to start. I am sure there are other tracks that would consider the same style event. If all of us speedster truck owners would just get a good e-mail campaign started something will come up from the track owners.

I was going to this a few years back and it got canceled. I seem to remember that it was rained out and then never rescheduled.

HRP would definitely be a great place to do it.
