| WichitaRacing.com | My first night/morning at the track With balding F1's I ran the following: 14.16 @ 100.40 - 2.30 60ft 2:07 am 14.47 @ 100.45 - 2.46 60ft 4:18 am And with 5# lower, modded air box, built tranny, 2400 stall, and stock predator tuned. ![]() I need Nittos...and probably driving lessons. Thing is, I beat a modded SRT-4, an EVO, and a STI the week before at the same track during the day with the timing system turned off for the local street racers. I was hoping for low 13's. ![]() I may go out again on Sunday to see how she does again. $5 T/O's 12noon til 8PM. But a buttload of people for sure, that's why I only got two runs in Saturday between 1am and 5am.Any tips as far as my mods and setup go?

| ouch! | Probably just bad track prep and bald tires. I go to KCIR and they dont do very good prep for grudge and the other guys there were getting good times w/o traction bars on f1's. One guy ran with a 5# pulley and a few other bolt ons and ran a 13.00 on 20's. Since you have the stall, I figure you are "launching" it higher rpms. With F1's esp. bald F1's it doesnt work. My stock L burns the hell out of the tires if I launch from 1k. But since your tires are bald, go with nittos and some t-bars and be done with it. Have fun! |
