Question Cobra Question

I know this is not a cobra forum. But I have a friend at work who got a 04 Cobra. He put on a 2.8 upper pulley and bassani
exaust. and some kind of cold air kit. Also added a tensioner?
I may have spelled that wrong.. ?.
The car is making a terrible noise like a belt is slipping.
He said he has the stock belt on it. I was wondering if you need a aftermarket belt for that set up, or will the tensioner work with the stock belt for the smaller pulley. Has anyone got any ideas of what that noise may be. I told him it was the stock belt but Im not sure.

Smaller diameter upper pulley you may wanna look at a smaller pulley. I'm no expert, I've never changed my upper on my L, or added a tensioner. My guess would be he needs a tighter belt.
