Racing for the 1st time

I've had my Lightning now for about 2 months. I'm taking it to the track tomorrow to see what it can do. Its a black 01 with a home made cai and a bassani cat-back ( both were on truck when I bought it ). Tires are Nitto 555's not dr's. I'll be running at Maple Grove Raceway in PA. Any suggestions or hints on what I could or should do would be appricated

This part of the site is usually dead. If you do a search there are a few threads on the topic you are asking about.

My 2000, with CAI and Highflow cats, Mufflers

I have found FOR ME, i do a decent burnout. Stage up and just left foot on the brake and have my right ready to nail it when it goes green

i have pulled 1.8 - 1.9 on all of my passes on hankook tires, if you have 555's you should be even better. if you aren't spinning at all when you leave then try to load it up to 1000 - 1200 foot braking it and see if you still bite. i know i dont
