Thumbs up Track Times

Just purchased 2001 under two weeks ago. I've put about 700 miles on it,and took it to the track today. All I have to say is Holy $h!t, what a truck!!!!!!!!!! My best time today was 13.589 1/4 @ 100.51 MPH. By the way what does the truck weigh? I am very happy with my purchase.

2001 Silver Lightning purchased September 28th. Wednesday, October 3, Jim D'Amore and posse from JDM Engineering came to Houston. Installed JDM power filter, 2#lower pulley, and custom tuned truck. Houston Raceway Park, Friday October 5, with only 330 miles on odometer. Truck runs 13.12 @ 103.63mph. Oh YEAAA!! Not even broke in yet and Jim sais should pick up atleast a couple more tenths as she breaks in....

2fast4u: Weight can vary several hundred pounds, particularly including the driver and gas. My 01 weighed in at 4,670lbs(hitch, jack, and spare tire 'gone') with me (175lbs.) and 3/8s tank of 93 octane at my 1/4 mile track. The tech guy said the scale was "state certified" but I still doubt its accuracy--I think it's weighing about 100lbs low? Some guys run with bed covers or without passenger seats??
