Hey guys, just wondering! A bunch of the MKLO I think are wanting to head down that way in a couple of months, and maybe get in on or watch some street racing, and cruise nights, ect ect....

I usually go over to KC with the rest of the guys, and its pretty extreme up our way! Cars getting trailored in if theres money on races! As well as a bunch of expensive exotics and tuner cars! (Roush stage 3's, Saleens, Lenginfelter's, 911's, Vipers, fast Supras, ect...) A long with a couple of L's, LOL

Are the cops pretty strict? We don't want to go to jail or anything! I'll just watch, cause I'm not a big street racer, cause I always manage to get busted!

Do any of you guys go out?

I used to go to the street races. Friday and Saturday people start to gather around 12am and run till 4am or longer. I35 and Royal or Loop 12 and Northwest Hwy are the more popular ones. It's gotten pretty lame to me though. There's more and more import crap and punk kids that can't drive. Or riduculous gangs that call themselves a car club! For the most part, the cops will chase them away from one spot and they'll flock to the next. Every now and then, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Carrollton and Irving Police Dept's will get together and organize a raid and bust everybody...and I mean everybody! Spectators and all! If you go, don't break a single law cause they'll try to find anything to give you a ticket for. That happened to me. I was filling up on gas and drove off without the lights turned back on for a few feet. Cop pulled me over and found 5 things on which to give me a ticket or just go home. Needless to say, I was outta there! I prefer to keep it at the track. It's legal, safe and you can still have fun! Just my .02 cents

When you get down here look me up and I'll take you to some good clean street action.Sunday nights about 9:00-11:00 are the best nights to race,there will be some good comp. out there.If not we have a few tracks that will be open by then.How many guys are coming?Look forward to meeting you all!!

We just wanted to come down for a long weekend, and hopefully meet up with some of you and just hang out at the street scene for something to do at night! I herd its pretty bad, thats why we all showed interest!

as much as i love street races, its just gotten too loopey as of late awhile back a few guys got shot (one died, the other in ICU) over some goofy confrontation. to this day, no-one is 100% sure what caused it, and the shooter (to my knowledge) was never caught.

I know that it would be a little far for you Texas guys to attend, but I was thinking that the first bracket race of the year you guys might all come up to Topeka KS and we could all race and then go to one of our local cruises! Something to do anyways!
