Post Looks like I'll hit 160 mph after all!

Just not in the Lightning! The wife got me a 4 lap ride in a nascar at the Texas Motor Speedway. Now I gotta wait till a good weekend. If this goes well, then I'm going for the 10 lap ride where I get to drive! Happy Holidays everyone!

Some guys I work with did that last year and said it was a blast and an experience they will never forget! Kinda expensive, but they said it was worth every penny! Most are going back for more!
Congrats, your gonna have a blast!!!

Hankd, that's looks like serious fun. Was it expensive (I bet so)?

I think it was about $300...(it was a birthday present)...

That included about 1-1.5 hrs in a classroom and a few laps around the track in extended vans with the instructors (the scariest part was doing 100 mph thru the turns with about 8 people in a van ). Then to the track for 10 laps in the Busch cars...it was great! Much harder (physically) than I expected...

Actually, on the pamplet info, the 10 lap course is closer to 400.00 bucks. Its like 395 and some change. All you have to do is call them the day you want to go out and thats it. They'll give you a schedule with available dates. And you have 1 year to use the tickets.
