Post Warranty extension available?

I bought an "01 a couple of months ago and was wondering where and how much an extended warranty will cost. I know I shopped around the country for other warranties and saved a couple of hundred bucks on other cars. Any advice????

You have until the 3/36 to buy one. I would stick with Ford since the truck is so "special". Most aftermarket warranties don't cover superchargers etc. Ford warranty covers the Lightning specific parts. Call Ford Yeager at Bankston 972.335.5000 and tell him you are with TALON see what he can do for you. He saved me a lot over what my delivering dealer stuck me for.

The price goes up the longer you wait, but like Terry said, you can buy one from Ford until your factory warranty expires.

I'll tell you this though, in every Ford I've owned new, which is 4 now, I've never, ever gotten my money back out of the extended warranties. I don't expect to out of this one either.

At this point, I have gotten my warranty money back in rental car fees ALONE. Sigh...

Good point. With me though, I usually end up getting a new vehicle before I ever hit the extended period...
