Just when you thought it was safe, SHM comes out with a 4 valve Lightning motor! How much? Try $14,500. I don't know the HP yet.

Man, thats a lot of bananas. Figure another $2500.00 for transmission upgrade and your at $17K just for upgraded running gear. That would push a new Lightning upgrade to over $50K. You can buy two 00 "L"s for that. Not that anybody would..................or something.

Yeah, I talked to Sean Hyland a while back and they told me they were almost done with the dang thing. Said they would let me have one for $12,600 + exchange of my block. That includes them taking the blower and pulleys and switching them for me. So that means I would reuse the same blower. It isn't worth it to me considering I need a custom set of headers and exhaust and I still would have the factory Lightning rods and pistons.

Yea, what Sixpipes said. I think I will just stick to my idea of a little 4.6L stroked, blower cams, forged pistons,rods, and crank, with blower heads, and a little nitrous shot for when I have to race my Brothers!
