| Guest | I was talking to a fellow TALON member at Ennis and he mentioned someone on the list that knew how to measure the intercooler fluid density? Was I delusional or does anyone know what I am talking about?? He mentioned that you add some sort of additive to make the intercooler fluid perfect... So...please tell me I am not crazy, does anyone know what I am talking about ? ![]() Dean! 01 L |

| Guest | I can tell you with some degree of confidence that the density of your fluid is ZERO when you have a son of b****, mother f***in, whore...****...mofo cracked out intercooler like mine... Ahem. Strangely, that helped. Logan 99 White Lightning 69 Mercury Cougar |

| Guest | I don't know about specific gravity but it is supposed to be 50/50 mix and I use 6oz of Red Line water wetter product. You can measure ratio with an anitfreeze tester from the parts store 3 or 4 bucks. The dealer put nearly 100% glycol in my intercooler resivior anything over 50% is corrosive to aluminum parts and they only left one nut off my engine .[This message has been edited by L8-APEX (edited 12-17-2001).] |
